A Wide Ranging Portfolio
Here are just a few samples of our recent work. Actual slideshow and interactive examples of our
work can be seen in our Examples section. In addition, we have successfully completed numerous
other Internet and intranet applications in our four-year history, and would be happy to provide
additional examples upon request.
Paragon Networks
In this multi-phased project, the web team completely redesigned and reorganized the Paragon
Networks web site, and added a new self-service customer support area to the site. The customer
support area is managed by internal Paragon resources using a full administration module which
provides user administration, document management, form management, customer satisfaction
ratings, using multiple levels of administration facilities.
XSPipe.com
XSPipe is a B2B online auction application for broadband equipment. The application was
customized from an off-the-shelf ColdFusion auction house solution. Red Horizon re-architected
much of the source code to improve performance, as well as enhance existing features and add new
functionality. The scope of this project did not include any extensive design work; we were
contracted primarily to perform code and feature customization.
Line of Business Intranet Portal
This LOB Portal site is being developed using a combination of Vignette, Java, and JSP
technologies, and is scheduled for launch in February of this year. When completed, the CMS
portion of the site will allow varying levels of system and content administrators to manage
content in the form of documents, links and HTML pages, dynamically implement content workflow,
and manage specific content types such as online newsletters and content submittal forms.
Corporate Management Knowledge Center
Built for a major telecommunications company, this intranet application allows the site
administrator to provide a variety of resources (documents, hyperlinks, web pages, images, etc.)
to users of their intranet system. Features include the ability to approve submittals for
publication, marking some content as time-sensitive (only appearing between certain dates), as
well as edit and delete capabilities. The application utilizes the Verity search engine to allow
visitors to search all documents and web content.
TLC
The TESS Learning Center (TLC) was an online training program for a new customer support software
application. The application was a replacement for a non-Y2k compliant program and so the timing
of this training program was crucial. The training program was built using Allaire (Macromedia)
ColdFusion, HTML, and JavaScript and used an Access 97 database backend. The application was used
for approximately 4 weeks and successfully trained 500 customer support employees.
