Red Horizon Releases SourceActionTM Beta Release 2
NEWTOWN, CT, October 11, 2001 - Red Horizon, LLC announces today the Beta 2 Release of SourceActionTM,
their online issue tracking application.
In anticipation and preparation of the commercial release of SourceActionTM this November, Red
Horizon is conducting a thorough Beta test program with external beta testers and internal
staff. The beta test program began in August and was distributed in two releases.
Beta testing for Release 2 is currently underway with the expectation of running up until commercial
release. This release contains dozens of bug fixes and enhancements reported by both beta testers
and internal staff. Some of the more significant enhancements include:
- A new application framework resulting in significant performance improvements.
- A product manager or administrator may now change the status of several issues at once.
- Issue cloning has been fully implemented.
- Ad hoc reporting has been implemented for custom fields.
- Custom fields are now available.
